| After almost 3 whole years of commitment, I finally gave up my weekend job at the NAVFAC Information Technology Center. Today was my last day (or should I say yesterday 3/11). Well, I did tell my manager that I would stick around until my replacement is found. They havn't found a replacement yet. But technically, i'm free. I feel sort of sad tho, I put in a lot of work and effort there. I remember when I first started working for the company, I use to work the Graveyard shift during my 4th year at UCI. I remember driving back and forth from Irvine to Port Hueneme every weekend for the whole entire year until I graduated. Yep, I was MIA. I was basically working to pay for my gas. But its all good, the experience was worth it. I guess now the fun begins, now that I have my weekends back. So, where should I start. I'm thinking about fixing up my beamer now that I have all this free time. I wanna get these rims, but estimated cost to get them is about $4500 - $5k. That's over a grand per rim. That reminds me, I have an appointment tomorrow to get an oil changed. Peayce. |
